CIVIL/structural Engineer (earthquakes)

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a civil engineer/Structural engineer to join their team at their Cape Town branch.

Responsibilities:

• writing tender specs, doing/checking BOQs
• design development (the structural/mechanical/pipe interface in particular)
• project management
• Not averse to being a jack-of-all-trades (piping, hydraulics, stormwater etc, as the need arises)

Qualification

• BSc/BEng/MENG in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering
• ECSA registration as a professional engineer
• Experience in earthquakes

Minimum Requirements and Experience (But not limited to):

• 2-5 years civil experience, with some exposure to water or wastewater treatment design or management
• Knowledge in Waste water treatment
• Sound understanding of design engineering codes and technical standards.
