QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
ØB Eng/BSc Eng/BTech in Civil Engineering.
ØMunicipal Services experience.
ØMinimum 5 years post-graduation experience.
ØExperience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, WaterMate and PipeMate or similar design packages will be an advantage.
Ø
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
ØAssistance with proposals/tenders related to Real Estate.
ØReport compilation, for civil projects.
ØPlanning, conceptual design, detail design, specifications, procurement process, administration, contract administration and project management of civil engineering projects.
ØCarrying out measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules, quantities and valuations at all stages of a project.
ØProviding project information and assistance to Project Leaders to enable effective project management.
ØConstruction contract documentation compilation (GCC and FIDIC) and procurement processes.
ØAssistance with technical advancement and business development by pursuing technical excellence and maintaining quality assurance on projects.
ØEnsuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.
ØExcellent technical writing skills, with good communication and time management skills.
ØMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of statutory procedures and technical standards.
ØAbility to work independently, but also to function well in a team environment.
ØSelf-motivation.
ØSoft skills required to maintain client relations.
