A C&I / Automation technician is required in the steel and industrial manufacturing sector in Johannesburg East.
Key responsibilities will include PLC Programming, automation, and instrumentation systems. Diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering. Experience in the Automation/MIS. PLC/DCS Programming, Networking, SQL, and VB programming.

Key responsibilities will include maintaining automation, reliability, process control, and instrumentation systems.
Qualification:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (L/C)(S4)
- Preferably in the Process Instrumentation and Control Systems field.
- Electronic/Instrumentation technician Trade test is beneficial.
Experience:- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a relevant field involving Industrial Automation.
- Fundamentals in Electronic Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Hydraulic circuits/Pneumatic circuits/Process instrumentation
Competencies & Skills:- PLC/DCS Programming
- AC/DC Drive setup
- SCADA Applications Development
- HMI Applications Development
- Industrial Communications Networks - Profibus/Ethernet/Fiber Optic/Profi-net/Device-net/Control-net/ASi
- Competency on Allan Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware and Citect Industrial Automation products.
- Industrial Automation Systems Integration.
- Design, Analysis and Interpretation of Electrical drawings/Instrumentation drawings/Pneumatic and Hydraulic circuit diagrams.
- Interpret P&ID diagrams.
