SUMMARY:
Large, established manufacturing concern has a vacancy for a qualified Metallurgical or Chemical Engineer. This is a junior to intermediate level role – qualified candidates with 2 to 3 years relevant industry experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required qualification, skills and experience:

A relevant engineering degree (Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering)
3-5 relevant work experience (manufacturing/production environment).
Must have own transport (vehicle) and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

Project management, including process design and layout work
Quality control, implement systems to support product realisation
Involvement in the operational aspects of the departments (hands-on participation)
Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and facilitating repairs
Production optimisation
Water treatment experience favourable
