Job Description

Your roles and responsibilities are as follows: Provide a courteous & efficient service aligned with the Company’s mission statement, Prepare a variety of patisserie goods that include but not limited to cakes, cookies, pies, breads. Create new & exciting desserts for Executive/Head chef review & approval. Decorate pastries, desserts etc. by keeping with modern trends. To be compliant, uphold & provide input to food quality & standards. Uphold & source best possible produce from approved suppliers. To be conversant, compliant & knowledgeable of all dietary requirements.  Conversant & uphold kitchen stock holding & produce control procedures.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Pastry Chef Diploma

Skills

2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a 5 star Game Lodge environment. Certificate /diploma relevant to position. Possession of valid driver’s license advantageous.
