Job Description

Your roles and responsibilities will be as follows: Assume full management responsibilities for the Lodge’s kitchen that include, but not limited to, menu design, menu innovation, administrative duties & personnel management. To be compliant, uphold & provide input to food quality & standards. Uphold & source best possible produce vs. cost from approved suppliers, Conversant, compliant & knowledgeable of all dietary requirements, To be compliant, conversant & uphold kitchen stock holding & produce control procedures, To be fully conversant with lodge clientele in respect to specific dietary requirements, Uphold & compliant of department & Company health & safety practices.  Adhere to Company HR & industrial relations responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Professional Chef''s Diploma

Skills

4 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a Game Lodge environment. Possession of a valid driver’s license.  Possession of a valid 1st aid certificate – advantageous. Full Vaccination Record/Certification
