Job Description
Strong community involvement (knowledge of Zulu language beneficial), Personal hosting of both international & local guests, with knowledge of food & beverage service an advantage, Ability to personally Guide guests on game walks (qualifications essential), mountain hikes, mountain biking & (horse riding trails would be a plus but not essential), Willing to learn about the Anglo Boer War history & qualify to take Battlefield Tours, Manage & motivate a small team of 20 staff, including the facilitating training workshops, Monitor checklists for lodge buildings & grounds maintenance and facilitate the work that needs to be done. Management couple preferred but not a must.
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate
- THETA/CATHSSETA certificate of competence
- Valid First Aid Certificate (min Level 1)
- Walking Trails Guide Qualification (ideal, but not essential)
- Advanced Weapon Handling (ideal, but not essential)
Skills
Driver’s License, valid PDP, Good knowledge of the Zulu language, ability to work on Microsoft Office, Must be well turned out & have outgoing personality, since hosting of local & international guests in the evenings will also be expected.
