350 seated modern fine dining,  seafood and steak restaurant situated in Pretoria

Job Description

 

Our client is looking for a strong F.O.H manager to run their restaurant.

You will be responsible for  the F.O.H duties:

• Hiring and training of staff
• organizing bookings and functions
• ordering and replenishing of stock
• stock counts for necessary F.O.H sections
• opening and closing  the shop
• cash up of waiters
• input of daily stock ordered
• meeting and greeting of guests
• ability to handle a high pressure environment in a professional manner
• reporting to your GM or Assistant GM on a daily basis
•  Hiring and training of staff
• paying attention to fine detail and keeping the environment presentable and welcoming
• ability to handle customer complaints in a orderly manner
• Monitoring food and beverage cost
• strong leadership skills with regards to leading your team.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate
• Relevant food and beverage qualifications would be preferable but not essential

Skills

• Good knowledge of POS/GAAP/IKENTOO systems
• Stock control
• 4+ years experience in a fine dining establishment
