Our client is a medium sized national consulting engineering firm specializing in civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering services, and project management and environmental consulting.
Job Description
You will be responsible for verifiable reinforced concrete and structural steelwork draughting in the built environment. You will need to have the following:
- Experience in draughting of water or wastewater treatment works, as well as building structures.
- Knowledge of industry or regulatory standards, regulations and codes pertinent to structural design
- You will have understanding of the National Building Regulations and the requirements of the NHBRC
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is a requirement.
Skills
- 10 years’ verifiable reinforced concrete and structural steelwork draughting experience in the built environment
- Certificate of Completion in AutoDesk Revit Structures
- N4/N5 Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practice (MDDOP)
- Certificate of Competency from a Member College of The South African Institute of Draughting
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, in particular BIM360 or ACC
- Must be an effective communicator, both written and verbal.
