POSITION INFO:

Our client, an Auditing firm with an international affiliation, has a permanent opportunity at their Pretoria East Branch (near Menlyn Shopping Centre), for a CaseWare Consultant.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: 

Conduct advisory services in any form possible and is expected to provide a client with a solution to their needs. This includes leading a team of consultants, junior staff members to achieve the objective, by assessing the most cost-effective solution. The CaseWare Consultant will also be included in day to day firm administration tasks to assist management in planning properly and ensuring targets and firm objectives are met.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• B. Com Degree in Accounting or similar, PLUS 1 - 3+ years’ post article experience.
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA training contract.
• Ability to deliver work that requires flawless accuracy and correctness.
• Ability to work independently without being micro-managed.
• Incumbent will need to travel, depending on the location of the client.

EXPERIENCE:

• A completed SAICA/SAIPA training contract
• CaseWare Firm champion experience including Financial Statements
• Experienced CaseWare trainer will be an advantage but definitely not a deal breaker
• Working experience in of CaseWare
• Strong interest in both business technical and systems technical will be highly advantages

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provide management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality service, that may include audits, reviews, advisory services.
• Provide and develop a project plan.
• Achieve team, individual budgets, business plan, and performance objectives.
• Manages project financials, including budgets, WIPS, timely billing and collection and variance recognition.
• Maintain the highest technical and professional standard.
• Think strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks.
• Addresses situation before it becomes a crisis and develops solutions to avoid recurrence.
