CA(SA) - Short Term Insurance Support Specialist

SUMMARY:
CA(SA) or SAICA qualified professional, preferably with Financial Services short term insurance industry experience and knowledge/experience of FAIS legislation, required to join this Technical Advice Team, supporting the short term business division of this reputable FSP, based in Centurion.

POSITION INFO:

CA(SA) or SAICA qualified professional, preferably with Financial Services short term insurance industry experience and knowledge/experience of FAIS legislation, required to join this Technical Advice Team, supporting the short term business division of this reputable FSP, based in Centurion.

Minimum requirements:

• CA(SA) or completed SAICA Articles essential
• Knowledge and experience of the FAIS legislation required
• Previous Financial Services short term insurance industry experience in provision of legal/technical support advantageous
• Willingness to travel nationally essential

Responsibilities:

• Support formulation and maintenance of company’s Legal/Technical Short Term Insurance Policies
• Support drive to standardise advise processes, tools and documentation
• Legal and Technical support to Financial Advisers
• Assist with large client insurance proposals
• Identify Adviser training needs and assist in development thereof
• Write and publish short term articles and newsletters
• Technical research to support Advisers
