SUMMARY:
CAPACITY PLANNER-CITRUS FRUIT

POSITION INFO:

DUTIES :

Ensure sufficient space is available for incoming cargo
Monitor and track truck bookings and stock and advise on space issues
Plan uterlization if steri tunnels and record any downtimes due to inefficient planning and loading
Plan diversion of trucks enroute based in capacity plan
Coordinate divertion of trucks with outside store clients,Packhouse tranporter
Ensure containers are loaded as per plan otherwise advise if possible backlogs
Push clients for additional loads to create capacity within cold storage
Informplanning of possible block out in advance
Ensure usage of steri tunnels are maximised and tunnels are not kept empty for periods
Diverting of trucks before arriving at Cold storage when the storage is full
Ensure clients transporters logs are updated every 2 hours
Ensure the offloading status report is updated and automated report is correct
Assist with client queries on intake trucks and containers
