CAD Quality Controller

SUMMARY:
Join a multinational organization as a CAD controller, where you will work closely with Lead Engineers to maintain high quality drawing standards. The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn, great eye for detail and the ability to fit into a dynamic company culture that prides itself on producing high quality products.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for learning customer engineering standards and processes

Reviewing drawings and CAD models

Giving feedback to Engineers regarding standards

You will be responsible for operating Siemens NX and Team Centre

Training new employees on engineering standards

Skills & Experience:

Must have excellent task management skills

Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical drawing standards

Familiar with manufacturing processes such as: laser cutting, welding, sheet metal and stamping, injection moulding, etc

Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Minimum 1 - 3 years draughting experience

Qualification:

CAD Draughting qualification

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
