SUMMARY:
CAD Draftsman required for original equipment manufacturer. Skills needed in AutoCAD and Solid Works. Our client needs a person who has the ability to assist at times with some project management, design, development, and quality assurance.
Skills needed in Solid Works and CAD. Must have the ability to handle all Documentation on the CAD drafting side.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN

CAPE TOWN

Mechanical draftsman required to join exciting international Projects- Design of Components.

Will assist Design engineers with Mechanical Drawings.

Main responsibility - drawings and technical specifications according to company standards.

Qualification and Minimum Experience:

Minimum of professional drafting credentials or equivalent certification
SOLID design experience on components
2-6 years drafting experience on Product development/ manufacturing drawings.
3 D CAD - Solid Works or Solid Edge
Some PDM system skills

Responsibilities:

Technical integrity of the design drawings
Prepare drawings for components; sub-assemblies and assemblies.
Detail layout and manufacturing drawings of components and assemblies
Communicate with Design and manufacturing teams , to ensure the flow of technical information during prototyping and production are up to acceptable standards
