CAD Checker/ Quality Controller

SUMMARY:
Product Development Company based in Cape Town. CAD Quality Control/ CAD Checker is required. Knowledge of CAD and Cad Drawings but main focus will be to ensure that CAD draftsmen abide by Quality standards and that all drawings adhere to standards and procedures.

POSITION INFO:

CAD Checker

Post Matric Education and Experience

• CAD Draughting course completed
• 6 months to 1 year Mechanical Drawing experience

Key Skills

• Attention to detail
• Excellent in task management
• Ability to work under pressure and handle priority changes
• Passion for CAD
• Good Written and Verbal Communication
• Computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Will be trained to use Siemens NX and Team Center
• Learn customer Engineering Standards and Processes
• Review Engineering CAD Models and Drawings for adherence to customer standards
• Provide feedback to engineers regarding CAD review results
