CAD Checker/ Quality Controller

SUMMARY:
Mechanical draftsman required to fulfill a role as a CAD Checker. CAD Checking on mechanical drawings of draftsmen and Engineers.The client is looking for a person with a sincere interest in mechanical drafting and the administration and Quality control of drawings for a design office based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Position: CAD Checker / Quality Control - Mechanical Draughtsman

Location: Cape Town

Mechanical draftsman required that can take responsibility of Quality Control. Detailed orientated individual with good interpersonal relationships skills to work with mechanical engineers and Mechatronic engineers.

Post Matric Education and Experience Required:

• CAD Draughting course completed
• 1 year Mechanical Drawing experience

Key Skills:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Passion for 3 D and general Mechanical CAD drafting
• Good Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Ability to do checking and quality control of engineers and Cad Draftsman drawings

Responsibilities:

• Will be trained to use Siemens NX and Team Center
• Learn customer Engineering Standards and Processes
• Review Engineering CAD Models and Drawings for adherence to customer standards
• Provide feedback to engineers regarding CAD review results
