POSITION INFO:

Job Description: 

• Responsible for the delivery of solution, by way of code or resource that addresses the stated requirement and adheres to structural and performance standards
• Responsible for the support of deployed applications, as they manifest in the Production environment
• Responsible for the adherence to, and maintenance of SDLC policy and process
• Responsible for effective task and resource management within the auspices of defined objectives and according to management reporting line.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years programming experience, of which a minimum of 4 years proven experience with MS Visual C++ (Vs5 upwards)
•  Minimum 3 years programming experience with SQL and OBDC
• Minimum 3 years programming experience with OO practices
• Minimum 2 years Windows Threading experience
• Minimum 2 years Windows Messaging experience
• Minimum 2 years MFC experience
• Minimum 1 year programming experience with COM and/or COM+
• Minimum 1 year programming experience with TCP/IP and Sockets
• Minimum 1 year programming experience with RDBMS
• Minimum 1 year working knowledge of APPC programming
• Minimum 1 year working knowledge of HTML/XML/PHP

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis and design of solutions that address requested functionality
• Explore value added functional or product opportunities not obvious without an understanding of the application architecture
• Production of technical specifications tat respond to the identified requirement, this as it applies to specific units or suites of code
• Technical specifications with meaningful work estimates
• Analysis and design of unit and integration test methodology as it pertains to functional and performance evaluation phases
• Execution of specified test phases and evaluation of functional integrity according to requirements
• Execution of capacity evaluation for units developed
