SUMMARY:
Experienced Banqueting Manager needed for Game Lodge in Limpopo.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate would be responsible for the planning and execution of functions.

Requirements: This is a live in position so candidate must be willing to relocate.
 
  • Micros point of sales essential.  
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a management position in a similar property
  • Polite, friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feet.
  • Well-spoken and well-presented individual.
  • Strong leader who have been in charge of employees before.
  • Must have excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and effectively deal with difficult guests
  • Must have grade 12 and be computer literate.
  • Formal hospitality degree/diploma preferable.
  • Experience in running functions of up to 250 pax at a five-star level.
 
Candidate will be required to:
 
  • Train and motivate and manage all banqueting staff.
  • Assist with queries and guest’s complaints
  • Manage the entire service operation of the restaurant.
  • Create and maintain relationship with guests in the restaurant.
  • Daily meetings and handovers with staff
  • Staff rostering.
  • Do monthly stock takes.
