POSITION INFO:
Execute intergrated sourcing and procurement processes by following prescribed procedures
Independently access and analyse procurement information
Execute purchasing of goods and services and procurement administration
Negotiate and coordinate conclusion of the management agreement with suppliers to meet the customers expectations
Consult with supervisor to manage problems/risks
Support the end user
Meet the requirements of service level agreements as agreed with end users
Implement cost reduction and price containment strategies
Scrutinise purchase request for logic descriptions, specifications, lead time and availability of funds
Verify user specification document is signed off prior to issuing
Develop procurement strategy
Source and select supplier base
Financial and contractual risks identified and confirmed ie. forex, hedging, performance etc
Develop terms and conditions of contract using approved templates
Execute and implement modifications and deviations to contracts
Compile confidential evaluation report
Coordinate the evaluation of tenders, financially, legally, technically and commercially
Interface with procurement tender committees
Conduct negotiations for low value and low risk items
Identify new materials for codification
Perform procurement and contract administration
Load concluded contracts/purchase orders in the SAP system
Prepare feedback reports
Coordinate meetings and compile minutes
Conclude contracts/purchase orders
General administration/negotiation functions regarding customers 
3 yr National Diploma/CIPS NQF level 5 
National diploma preferable in Purchasing management, Logistics, Supply chain
3 yr related experience
