Requirements:

Relevant qualification
± 5 Years’ experience as a retail buyer diverse products
Excellent negotiations skills in dealing with suppliers
Exposure to market research, data analysis, and forecasting techniques

Duties:

Identify customer needs, preferences, and trends
Evaluate suppliers according to prices, quality, and service track record
Negotiate terms of agreements
Identify and purchase new products
Ensure timely delivery of products
Monitor stock levels
Report on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction
Build relationships with suppliers
