R40 000 per month negotiable

Established business supplying the building retail market with imported building materials and raw products for manufacturing product locally, seeks a strategic buyer to work with the executive team and make sure that there is always enough stock in their warehouse to stock the Groups/Stores they supply nationally. You need to be strategic, have excellent planning and forecasting abilities, be great with numbers and systems. You will need a tertiary qualification, preferably a degree, min 5yrs retail/wholesale buying/negotiating with international suppliers. We need someone who is ahead of the turmoil COVID caused in imports and can plan for winter and summer 2022. The ideal person has management experience or potential, but the most important is we need someone who can forecast and plan. We are looking for a super bright Byer who is very computer literate and has an above-average grasp of numbers. This role is strategic, not administrative.
