SUMMARY:
Our client in the East Rand - Nigel seeks to employ a project MRP buyer with engineering spares experience on 6 months contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience buying engineering parts both locally and internationally
ERP /MRP experience (all buying relate modules)
Required good experience on systems like QAD & SAP any other system
Trouble shooting
Costing
Supplier management
Experience gained in a high SKU environment like Agriculture spares, automotive spares, engineering
Confident communicator ie written & verbal skills Afrikaans & English
Able to handle lots of pressure
Meet tight deadlines for project buying

- Based on S&OP process, running MRP on the ERP system, determine the demand for purchasing purposes for local and import orders
- For local orders negotiate pricing from local suppliers and ensure best quality, price and delivery date is obtained
- For import orders place orders on company Entities
- Costing of all imported shipments and GRV into inventory
- Liaise with import shipping companies and coordinate receipt in order of priority
- Expedite orders
