SUMMARY:

A retail organisation based in Cape Town are seeking to employ Buyers for their apparel and footwear departments

POSITION INFO:

Range preparation, coordination, and presentation
Range execution in alignment with the business objectives
Presenting range reviews
Product Development
Sourcing of suppliers and new products
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts
Effectively collaborating with the relevant stakeholders and departments
Overseeing the Product Quality and Suitability
Controlling sample stock
General buying administrative functions

Working knowledge of the retail cycle and merchandise buying principles and processes
A working knowledge of the latest Microsoft packages is required
