SUMMARY:
A company in the Packaging and Manufacturing Industry is currently recruiting for a talented and professional Buyer that will form part of the Procurement function in the company. The successful candidate must come with a minimum of 3 years’ Buying experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
Must have a sold background in retail and industrial purchasing.
Minimum of 3 years’ Buying experience.
Beneficial: Experience within Pastel Evolution.

Roles and Responsibilities

Placing orders.
Responsible for negotiating prices.
Sourcing quality suppliers of stock items.
Responsible for stock taking.
Following up with suppliers.
Assisting the Sales Department with special stock inquiries.
Contacting suppliers.
