SUMMARY:
Our client in the bulk material handling industry is seeking a buyer to join them in Kya Sands, Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Buyer

Geographical area: Kya Sands, Gauteng
Salary range: R20 000 - R25 000 CTC per month

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Supplier Negotiation.
Ordering of Materials from approved suppliers
Inventory control.
Excellent Communication skills with various departments.
Follow-up with supplier deliveries
Processing of jobs
Good understanding of bulk materials handling equipment and its function.
Project purchasing
Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within the Procurement Department.
Previous experience with ordering of bearings, motors and gearboxes, Valves, raw steel
Minimum N3 technical Certificate in Engineering or Purchasing or Equivalent.
