SUMMARY:
Our client in the Precision Engineering Sector has an opportunity available for a Buyer to be based in the Western Suburbs of Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric Certificate with (Mathematics at least 60%)
Relevant Business Commercial degree/Ndip in Business/Accounting will be preferable
Minimum of 5 years working experience
Ability to manage time effectively, priorities tasks and achieve set targets.
Ability to work well under pressure, handle emergency and stressful situations.
Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationship with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers.

KPAs:

Responsible for the sourcing, selecting, and purchasing of high quality and well-priced products for the business
Processing RFQs, Purchasing Requisitions, POs, tracking orders, dealing with suppliers and logistics, maintaining of the ERP system and aligning virtual and physical stock quantities.
Plan production and purchases to suit production and workshop future requirements.
