SUMMARY:
The ideal applicant will have experienced in all aspects of buying/procurement. A relevant qualification with some sales background, strong negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communication is essential.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS:
An extensive background in buying / procurement
A relevant qualification is an advantage
Good communications skills - verbal and written
Must have proven negotiation skills
Some sales background is preferable
Must be computer literate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify suppliers / vendors
Select suitable merchandise and negotiate bills of sales for the business
Inspect deliveries
Expedite outstanding items
Understands price escalation formulas
Manage and close out the claims process when claims are raised against the suppliers
Manage product returns
