POSITION INFO:

Leader in wastewater treatment seeks to employ a suitably experienced Buyer at their offices in Paarl.

For the position you would be required to have:

Minimum of Grade 12/ Matric
Tertiary qualification in Procurement
Minimum of 2 years procurement experience
Computer literate (Word, Excel)
Competence with ERP systems (Oracle/ JD Edwards) a definite advantage

Responsibilities would include you to:

Assist the local teams by providing procurement services from supplier selection to final order delivery.
Ensure that goods and services purchased are in accordance with the Order Requests (OR).
Ensure that the goods/services purchased are at the best prices and conditions.
Assist in sourcing products/services and evaluating new vendors.
Purchase goods/services from approved vendors only.
Adhere strictly to all procurement procedures.
File all records to enable quick and easy access.
