My client within the Meat/manufacturing industry is searching for a Butchery Store Manager to form part of their team. The company is well established within the industry and proven to be successful over the years. They require the successful candidate to have strong Management skills with an outspoken personality. Positions based in Pietermaritzburg

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications, licenses & Skills:

• 4-5 years managerial experience in a similar position.
• Computer literate (MS Office).
• Matric or relevant tertiary education.
• Meat inspector will be an added advantage.
• Own transport & valid driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Strong administrative skills
• Stock takes
• Systems
• Orders
• Quotes
• Legal requirements and regulations
• Good existing relationships with industry suppliers and customers will be an advantage.
• Established advanced proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel.
• Proven ability to work under pressure with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work irregular hours where necessary.
• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
• Staff management.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
