Business Process Analyst x 2 - Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Retail industry, Cape Town, has 2 x roles available for Business Process Analysts - these are 6 month Fixed Term Contracts.

NB:Â he successful candidate needs to have a BCom or be a recently qualified CA(SA).

Â

MAIN PURPOSE: To design and implement finance processes with a contained business impact within business projects or as part of finance continuous improvement project, ensuring that finance’s objectives, in particular, control objectives are achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Providing input into the finance operating plans
2. Providing input into finance policies, principles and procedures
3. Facilitation of Workshops across Departments and / or divisions
4. Development of Clear and Detailed Process Maps
5. Responsible for developing business requirement specifications
6. Working with the systems analyst to communicate the business requirement and ongoing interaction to ensure that any development meets the business need
7. Analysing process changes, risks and impacts and facilitating communication thereof
8. Developing test scripts in line with business scenarios
9. Conducting thorough system and integration testing
10. Helping ensure that environment is setup for business change
11. Compiling training material and delivery thereof
12. Responsible for status reporting, feedback on issues and risks
13. Responsible for supporting the business during implementation
14. Supporting the users until processes and systems have stabilized
15. Analysing of issues identified by users and providing remedies

KEY COMPETENCIES:

FINANCIAL:

• Relevant Financial qualification
• BCom or recently qualified CA(SA)

5+ YEARS OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
