Business Intelligence Engineer (Telecom Software)

What This Role Is About

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to help support and enhance telecom software products. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, analyse data, troubleshoot issues, and help deliver solutions that make a real operational impact.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is curious, analytical, and confident communicating with both technical teams and clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing SQL queries to extract, analyse, and report on data
• Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving software issues
• Supporting and configuring .NET-based and web applications
• Assisting with installation and configuration of systems
• Investigating problems, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes
• Working in an agile, fast-paced development environment

What We’re Looking For

• BSc or BEng degree
• 2+ years’ experience (graduates will be considered)
• 1–2 years’ solid SQL experience, confident writing queries and building reports
• Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable interacting with clients in a professional manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting ASP.NET web applications
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring .NET applications
• Understanding of web-based systems and integrations
