SUMMARY:
A global pharmaceutical leader requires a qualified and independent Business Finance Director.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must hold a Finance qualification either (CA, CIMA or equivalent)
Minimum of 10+ years in finance roles with successful experience in a finance business partnering role with the ability to develop and drive commercial and financial strategies along with experience in financial budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis
Responsible for financial leadership, business consultation and analytical support of the Sub Sahara Africa region
Key business partner to the SSA Cluster Lead and other Commercial Leads within the cluster, providing strategic insight, analytics and financial decision support
Partner with the SSA Cluster Lead and LT on the execution of business strategies and in managing the P&L to maximise revenue and IBT
Lead the latest estimate and operating plan cycles in the SSA region
Provide monthly and quarterly analysis, metrics, key messages and presentations to support key decisions
Monitor and challenge financial and operational performance through assessing and reporting actual performance against the operating plan, forecast, and prior periods
Providing analytical support and advice as necessary for key business decisions such as: resource prioritisation and allocation, trade/distribution agreements, and capital projects
Oversee and coordinate Working Capital management in the cluster to optimise cash flow and mitigate financial risk
Partner with GBS to provide guidance to other stakeholders on key accounting policies and procedures in accordance with local and corporate requirements
