POSITION INFO:

Business Development Manager (cyber security)
Bryanston, Johannesburg

We are looking for an experienced, switched-on, go-getter to join our awesome sales team in the Johannesburg Office.

The successful person will adopt the great company culture and become part of the team, exude confidence and maintain the integrity foundations that have been established though the company within the industry.

Beside your great personality and ability to build good relationships, you will be bringing the following with you:

á´¥ 7 years’experience as an Information Technology Account Management or Business Development role (NOT NEGOTIABLE) with contactable references (Customers and Partners).
á´¥ Good presentation skills
á´¥ Good MS office and CRM understanding
á´¥ Clear communication skills – verbal and written
á´¥ Is a team player but capable of working as a driven individual
á´¥ Experience/Understanding/selling solutions like McAfee, Websense, Check Point and an understanding of other security technologies would be a good advantage

Objectives/Responsibilities
→ Manage the day-to-day customer relationship
→ Understand the expectations of your customers to ensure fast, efficient and cost effective services are delivered to meet those expectations.
→ Maintain and develop relationships with Vendors and Distributors
→ Understand your key accounts security strategies. 60% Focusing on growing and developing business through your account portfolio. 40% Identifying and winning new business outside of your accounts.
→ Understand the procurement channels and requirements of your key accounts
→ Maintain an accurate pipeline for weekly reporting
→ Compile proposals using templates for key account projects and new business
→ Achieve and over-achieve revenue targets
→ Conduct frequent (Weekly, Bi-weekly or Monthly) initiative meeting with key accounts to maintain project progression.
