JOB DESCRIPTION:

Outsourced Telecommunications company seeks to employ highly skilled Business Development Manager who will be required to work with the various Sales Teams to drive new business in Unified Collaboration, focusing on Contact Centre Sales , and also aiding in selling other UC Solutions when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business sales in Unified Collaboration, specializing in contact centre sales, but also other UC Solutions when needed
  • Work with sales teams developing Customers Call Centre Strategies
  • Been able to present at CxO Level on Call Centre solutions and Strategy
  • Contribute towards UC Revenue Targets
  • Work with Product Teams ensuring products are fit for purpose based on customer demand and requirements
  • Build commercial business cases for customers, illustrating value proposition and return on investment to customers
  • Develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external to aid in developing new business
  • Travel to regions when necessary to work with regional sales team in developing new business
  • Keep up to date with Contact Centre Trends and understand competitive landscape and market share
  • Contributing to the design of go-to-market campaigns and the development of sales strategies
  • Responding to RFX’s and compiling customer proposals

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Min 7 Years in new business development and sales
  • 3 year degree / diploma (NQF6) 
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Identify up and cross sell opportunities
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over virtual platforms
  • Extensive knowledge of Cloud (AWS/AZURE, Omni-channel call centres, recording)
  • Knowledge of Unified Communications, SIP, Voice, Collaboration
  • Collaboration solutions including Video Conferencing and Web Conferencing
  • Contact Centre Solutions, including Omni Channel, AI, RPA, Analytics, BPO, WFM
  • In-depth understating of Reporting, Analytics and trending in Contact Centre operations
  • Familiar with CRM systems and practices
  • Proven sales track record
  • Good understanding of MPLS, SDWAN, LAN Design, Cloud Computing
  • Good business and financial acumen
  • Must be able to lead a customer engagement & workshops, identify new opportunities, engage with CxO level and present solution explaining business outcomes, have the ability to engage in technical conversations all stakeholders, help the BCX AE to close the deal
  • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
