SUMMARY:
An ICT Solution company based in Johannesburg is looking for a dedicated and responsible Sales Consultant tasked with the job of growing the business and profitability of the organisation. As the position entails selling technical solutions and CRM systems, understanding of Telecoms technologies, CRM applications, Contact Centre Software and Unified Communications Software is preferred.
A proven track record in sales, presenting well and delivering solutions with passion is a must. Attitude, integrity and aptitude is what defines the success of the candidate in this role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business management, administration, or a related field is required for this job. Previous years of work experience in a business development managing capacity can be helpful. Business and leadership certifications are a plus.
  • Computer literate, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, preferable accompanied certifications
  • Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
  • Computer literate, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, preferable accompanied certifications
  • Strong familiarity with CRM applications, and solid working knowledge of current Telecom’s technologies, Contact Centre Software and Unified Communications Software.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identifies current trends by researching the industry and related events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Understands and meets targets that are set
  • Protects organisation's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
  • Enhances organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
