Business Development Consultant

SUMMARY:
The Senior Business Developer role (SBD) is a position within the business development structure of our execution brokerage client. The SBD will be working in a competitive target driven environment and will be required to source his/her own clients with the support of our client''s brand and company infrastructure.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Skills: 

• Introduce new business to achieve or exceed monthly targets.
• Identify business opportunities, potential clients, and affiliate customers. 
• Source and convert leads into sales; ensure high quality interaction with potential clients.
• Strategically plan new business/product opportunities for revenue growth.
• Negotiate new business at the highest revenue point for the company.
• Build a network of Partners to further drive revenue growth in Africa within the oversight of the Business Development Manager.
• Generating and retaining clients.
• Drive new account sales by demonstrating the benefits of the company’s products and services. Keeping up to date with all new products and services.
• Ensure adequate communication with clients with regards to their needs and interests and provide sale representation when needed.
• Keep CRM and other internal system updated.
• Abide by regulatory compliance rules and policies.

Objectives:

The SBD will be required to meet agreed monthly targets as set out by their line manager.  The targets will be set on a rolling monthly basis against the following KPI:

• New Partners’ signups
• New clients’ signups
• Net Deposits
• Gross Deposits
• Spread Revenue generated

Desired Experience & Qualification

Essential Skills:

• Min 2 years working in similar environment
• High level of knowledge of the CFD, Forex or other Financial Services marketplace, products, and service.
• Must come with an existing clients/partners base or evidence of potential business opportunities.
• Experience of end-to-end lifecycle of a client journey.
• Proven experience of understanding clients’ needs and providing focused solutions with successful results.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Initiative and an entrepreneurial attitude.
• Proactive, positive, and flexible approach to teamwork.
• Working hour 9am -6pm
