POSITION INFO:

Managed People Solutions is looking for a talented Business Developer for a well-known Software Company based in Cape Town

The Software Company creates global market facing solutions for the FMCG industry, predominately for the liquor and restaurant space 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities through interaction with prospective customers, including live demonstrations of our products and other activities
• Develop and assist in defining custom product offerings for our target market, based on our product basket
• Achievement of sales objectives set out on a quarterly basis
• Provide training to customers on our products
• Administration such as the provision of required reports.

 
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor''s degree in Sales/Marketing/Technology is desirable
• 2 - 5 years work experience in Business Development or Sales
• Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales and or FMCG industry
• Experience with Sales funnels and Sales pipeline process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
• Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients
• Passion in business and sales development
• Soft skills that favour building strong, healthy and lasting customer relationships, as well as team cohesion
