POSITION INFO:
Business Analyst required for one of Glasgow''s most prestigious professional services firms, on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract. The company are working remotely for the time being, but upon return you will be based in their Glasgow city centre office. The role is largely to help with the company''s move into digitisation and you will ideally have a strong background in this. This role is a 12-month Fixed-Term contract. The company are currently going through a digital transformation and are needing an IT Business Analyst to help streamline the business processes.
They operate across a number of countries and are in the process of reviewing all of the business services offerings. This role is sitting within the IT function and you will be an experienced Business Analyst, ideally with experience of successful project delivery across a larger scale, professional services organisation.
They are looking for someone who has a broad background in IT projects however who ideally has worked in digital and software projects. You will be working on a variety of advanced Digital projects, assisting in bringing to life the innovative ideas being formed within that space.
The company you will be joining are undertaking large scale business change and there is plenty of work to be done now and moving forward. They are ideally looking for someone to start no later than one months'' time, and you will be getting your hands dirty from day one. They treat their employees extremely well and have continued to hire through Covid-19.
Key Skills and Experience:
** Strong experience of Digitisation projects
** Undertake business analysis work digitising the firm, making the organisation more efficient and sustainable
** Lead workshops, interviews, shadowing, etc. with appropriate stakeholders, some of which may be in a different geographical location and/or time zone to yourself
** Capturing of As-Is processes along with all interfaces, controls, inputs, outputs and costs
** Capture and documentation of requirements (business, functional and non-functional, data, etc.) using programme defined templates and co-ordinating review and sign-off
** Experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of successful project delivery in a professional services company.
** Experience in a Business Analyst role on technology projects with an application development or software product development scope within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
** Experience of gathering and managing technical details and requirements.
** Able to learn and understand current business processes and help to model new processes/ procedures.
