POSITION INFO:
Business Analyst required for one of Glasgow''s most prestigious professional services firms, on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract. The company are working remotely for the time being, but upon return you will be based in their Glasgow city centre office. The role is largely focused on Business Change and you will ideally have a strong background in this. This role is a 12-month Fixed-Term contract. The company are currently going through a digital transformation and are needing an IT Business Analyst to help streamline the business processes.
They operate across a number of countries and are in the process of reviewing all of the business services offerings. This role is sitting within the Change and Business Improvement function and you will be an experienced Business Analyst, ideally with experience of successful project delivery across a larger scale, professional services organisation.
They are looking for someone who has a strong overall Business Change background and also who can make improvements to business processes and service delivery. You will be working on a variety of strategic projects, managing the business analysis and engaging senior stakeholders.
The company you will be joining are undertaking large scale business change and there is plenty of work to be done now and moving forward. They are ideally looking for someone to start no later than one months'' time, and you will be getting your hands dirty from day one. They treat their employees extremely well and have continued to hire through Covid-19.
Key Skills and Experience:
** Strong experience of Business Transformation projects, ideally across a global, large scale or professional services firm
** Experience as a Business Analyst working on process mapping, requirements gathering, streamlining processes, and implementing process efficiencies within a professional services company
** Ability to Lead requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, traceable and unambiguous
** Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, use cases, scenarios and other techniques
** Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with business areas that rely on the information to define system requirements or processes
** Manage changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools
** Gather and document business and functional/non-functional requirements
