A leading property management client is looking to appoint a dynamic Building Manager to ensure a world-class experience at the client-landlord interface, while driving optimal performance and maintenance of commercial assets.

A leading property management client is looking to appoint a dynamic Building Manager to ensure a world-class experience at the client-landlord interface, while driving optimal performance and maintenance of commercial assets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves managing technical operations, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

What you’ll be doing:

Taking charge of building maintenance plans – from emergency to preventative – ensuring all assets are maintained to the highest standard
Managing technical budgets including Capex and R&M, with a keen eye for cost control and forecasting
Overseeing service providers, technical teams, tenant installations, and ensuring full compliance with statutory building regulations
Conducting regular inspections and audits, monitoring quality and performance of suppliers
Implementing energy-saving initiatives and sustainability projects in collaboration with the Facilities Manager
Managing health and safety compliance, including fire systems, emergency procedures and equipment registers

What you’ll bring:

3+ years’ experience in property or building maintenance/management
Certificate or Diploma in Building Science, Facilities or Construction Management
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building operations
Experience with service level agreements, lease agreements, and CMMS systems (desirable)
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and report writing skills
A self-starter who thrives under pressure, juggles multiple tasks effortlessly, and leads with assertiveness and professionalism
