Brokerage Controller

SUMMARY:
New Opportunity: An innovative market leader in international freight forwarding and logistics services is searching for a Brokerage Controller to join their team based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Role:

To ensure accurate import and export documentation preparation for goods shipped and verification /audit of custom broker activities to ensure proper documentation and procedures followed as per the procedures and policies while maintaining our core values and culture.

Framing of Customs Entries, Cargo Dues, VOCs, and Acquittals. Also arranging of customs examinations while maintaining our core values (Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Trust and Respect) and culture. 

Qualifications:

• Matric with Maths
• Tertiary qualification in logistics imports and exports would be advantageous 5-10 years
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in Logistics and Transport industry
• Knowledge and understanding of Shipshape

• Basic tariff knowledge.
