Our client, a market leader in South Africa's niche low voltage electrical industry, with a vision to become the benchmark of quality products and customer service, currently has a vacancy of Branch Manager to run their branch in Durban.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education:

Minimum Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of low voltage switchgear and motor control is non-negotiable
Extensive and active customer portfolio
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and selling skills
Strong time management skills and prioritisation skills to ensure that projects are completed by deadlines
Ability to enforce and maintain high standards under pressure
Financial literacy and financial management skills
Microsoft Office suite (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) competence
Ability to spot problems and opportunities early and respond aggressively to them
Ability to gather market intelligence, communicate up and adapt plans to optimise
Effective delegation of authority while retaining operational responsibility
Track record of ‘job stability’ (job hoppers need not apply).
