Branch Manager - Springfield (Johannesburg)

Internal Sales:

Ensure that new Home improver cards are opened by all staff members

Provide technical specifications when required

Grow branch sales

Assist the sales team with quotes to customers and ensure company GP is achieved

Service existing accounts from the branch

Communicate customer requests to management

Excellent knowledge of the market conditions to aid sales

Maximize the sales value of each transaction through add on sales

Prompt timeous response to in-store or telephonic customers

Closing off tint orders through invoicing and appropriate notification /delivery of orders placed

Maximize gross profits

Administration:

Provide Monthly Manager’s reports

Maintain control during stock take and assists in the process

Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans

OHSA:

Ensure that the branch adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Assist in reporting and recording of Occupational Injuries and Diseases

Protect customers and employees by providing a safe and clean store environment

Ensure vehicle safety checks are adequately done

Ensure full compliance with all COVID19 Rules and regulations

Management Control:

Ensure that the company purpose is achieved, and our values are adhered to and reflected in every customer interaction

Schedule, motivate and supervise staff

Provide training and development of staff

Assist in evaluating staff work performance by preparing and delivering performance reviews

Monitor quality of service of staff

Discipline and provide counselling to staff

Assist in achieving set sales targets

Ensure compliance with Branch closing procedures

Order groceries and stock

Keep track of customer accounts

Balance cash receipts

Ensure that all customer complaints are managed effectively and documented on a CCF 

Inventory control:

Take inventory

Order groceries and supplies

Check received stock against invoice

Ensure prices are marked in store

Restock shelves

Collect all returns
