Branch Manager Materials testing

SUMMARY:

Our client in materials testing is looking for a Branch Manager (Mossel Bay).  They require 10 yrs. experience in similar industry. Must be a people person, go getter who is not afraid to find New Business. Must have commercial experience (interfacing with clients, budgets, forecasting, production planning, budget management) with strong managerial experience.  SANS 3001 Knowledge would be a big advantage. 

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

• -/+ 10 yrs experience in a similar industry (material testing).
• Minimum Qualification – Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or similar,  
• Must have commercial experience.
• People person, go getter who is hungry to find clients
• SANS3001 or similar, technical signatory is an advantage.
• Able to lead and motivate staff to high standard of excellence within the group.
• Minimum of 2 Year experience working in a material testing environment.

·         Proficient in both Afrikaans and English (Read, speak, and write).

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Interfacing with clients, budgets, forecasting, production planning), managerial experience.
• Manage customer policies and deliver against agreed SLA in line with service KPI’s.
• Maintain, develop, and grow the customer base in area of responsibility.
• Identify and implement strategies to ensure growth in market share, profitability and achievement of the company vision, mission, values.
• Manage the activities of the branch to ensure that financial and administrative standards and procedures are met.
• Manage and develop associates’ performance.
• Manage self to maintain personal effectiveness.
