SUMMARY:
Automotive spares wholesaler specialising in engine, suspension, electrical and service components. OEM branded quality parts covering the entire vehicle park, light and heavy-duty vehicles, on the road seeks a capable Branch Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Profile Summary

Execute the wholesale channel strategy of realizing required business results through expanding regional market penetration and visibility, building sustainable relationships with wholesale clients and maximising sales opportunities within them.

Team Development:

• Oversee the selection, training and development of Branch Staff
• Coach and advise Sales Team
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of Staff (KPI targets agreed and achieved.)

Working optimally with wholesale customers (interpersonal):

• Plan, lead and direct the daily operations and execution of sales activities, customer service standards, price lists, discount and delivery terms, sales methods, special incentives and campaigns, in consultation with Channel Executive, other RSMs, Regional Wholesale Sales Team and Customer Fulfilment Channel (Distribution Centres)
• Plan and organise special sales initiatives, based on sales records and market assessments
• Plans administers and reviews customer services and after-sales services and maintains sound customer relations (become customer-obsessed)

Leading the market by implementing wholesale customer-focussed value propositions (Delivery-related)

• Implement, monitor, and evaluate policies and plans for sales, in consultation with the Channel Executive and other Regional Sales Managers, service enabling channel as well as the relative Key Account Manager
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards
• Manage and communicate budgets and targets and control expenditure to ensure the efficient use of resources
• Ensure appropriate systems and procedures are implemented to provide budgetary control
• Establish and direct operational and administrative procedures related to sales activities, in collaboration with the National Key Account Manager
• Realise targets for market penetration and expansion (territory account management), in collaboration with the National Key Account Manager
• Represent Company at conventions, trade exhibitions and other forums
• Do root cause analysis where targets are not met or exceeded
• Share learnings and best practice with the Channel Executive, Wholesale Sales Team, other Regional Sales Managers as well as the Service Enablement and Collaborative Channels

Requirements:

• A relevant Diploma or Advanced Certificate will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years'' managerial experience in sales
• Proven experience in market penetration and expansion in the wholesale industry
• Experience in the automotive wholesale spare part industry. Customer obsession
