JOB DESCRIPTION:

National coffin and casket manufacturing company is seeking a Branch Manager at its Retail Warehouse and Distribution Centre in Cape Town. The individual will have experience in the areas of staff supervision, sales and marketing, stock and asset control. The ideal candidate is a very strong and energetic sales person who will develop and grow with the company.

Required competencies include, but not limited to:

- Strong marketing and sales experience

- Good communication and writing skills

- Must be willing to travel and market the range of products

- Be able to increase sales and bring in new customers

- Develop and manage a new customer database.

- Provide trend analysis of customer purchases.

- Maintain and develop strong customer relationships.

- Contribute to product change, enhancements and development based on customer requirements and market trends.

Required:

- Matric / Grade 12

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Branch / Sales Manager

- A valid driver’s license and own vehicle

- Computer literate

- Intermediate – Advanced proficiency in Excel

- Email proficiency

- Experience in accounting software packages with inventory management and control

- Honest and reliable

- Clear criminal record

- Positive with a can-do attitude

- Willing to learn
