staff and sales team

POSITION INFO:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE

​​The Branch Manager is accountable for growing sales, driving and motivating the branch staff and sales team in order to achieve Branch objectives

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES​

Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines

• Development and implementation of Branch strategy to achieve ROAM
• Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting
• Setting of and adherence to regional budgets, sales forecasts, and fixed costs.
• Monitoring and evaluating targets and initiating corrective action plans where necessary.
• Strong margin management.
• Monitoring and control of working capital.

Customer Relationship Management

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships.
• Generate and follow-up on sales leads.
• Maintain high profile in industry related organisations.
• Provide customer support where necessary.
• Staff Management and Development
• Plan and ensure cost efficient resourcing for the branch.
• Lead and motivate the branch team for maximum performance.
• Prepare and deliver effective motivational team meetings.
• Manage employee development through training and performance management.

Branch Procedures

• Ensure branch adherence to ISO9001 policies and procedures.
• Management of Ferro Performance Materials logistics and stock in the Branch
