Branch Manager

SUMMARY:
An exciting position exists for a Branch Manager in the Westmead area.

POSITION INFO:

Ensure the optimisation of the company’s maintenance and repair opportunities, and operational processes

Ensure the optimization of the commercial market place opportunities

Ensure cost savings as and where possible

Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.

Ensure the optimisation of maintenance staff, company resources and processes

Ensuring effective utilisation of personnel, development of personnel through internal training and identifying additional training needs

Maintaining correct stock levels, ensuring regular stock checks and reporting on stock variances on a monthly basis

Ensuring that suppliers conform to quality and quantity specifications laid down by the company

Ensuring that disciplinary and grievance procedures are followed

Ensuring that all employees conform to safety and environmental rules and regulations

Ensuring that suppliers meet necessary order requirements

Ensuring that Sub-Contractors and or own staff meet the necessary delivery requirements, including liaison with customers, appearance and upholding of company image

Compiling and preparing yearly budget, control of budget on a monthly basis and reporting on variances

Ensuring sound and professional relationships between customers and the company

Ensure maintenance and increase of the client portfolio

Understanding of the area market potential and risks

Ensuring you know the pricing of products being offered by the Company to Customers

Liaising with Customers on repair turn-arounds and other planning

Ensuring a sound knowledge of new developments and future planning in his/her area of responsibility

Ensuring that company assets are being maintained in accordance with a planned maintenance schedule and that maintenance is carried out timeously, in conjunction with the Maintenance Department

Ensuring that all tools are controlled and maintained

Ensure - Address and Resolve customer queries and problems timeously – including debtor queries where applicable

Conduct warranty investigations and queries through to resolution

Employment of staff as and when required.

Control and measurement of all time categories of productive as well as non-productive staff, including work in progress and jobs in progress.

Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification

A tertiary technical qualification, preferably to N3

Minimum five years’ experience in commercial fleet maintenance management
