SUMMARY:
Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in the manufacturing of Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The main task of this position is to deliver Southern Oil products to the customer and generate additional business when in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Receive daily trip sheets from Warehouse Administrator.
• Review trip sheets and allocate a delivery route and schedule to the following day''s trip sheet.
• Load vehicle the day before delivery.
• Do a vehicle inspection check every morning.
• Load stock in-vehicle according to route plan and send the day before.
• Deliver stock to customers ensuring POD is signed and all relevant documentation and payment are received.
• Picking up credits according to the schedule and procedure.
• Ensure all deliveries are delivered as planned cost-effectively and timeously.
• On arriving after deliveries is complete, all signed invoices and cash need to hand over to Debit Controller and/or put in a safe.
• The empty cans as received from clients for credit need to be delivered to Wash Bay as per the standard procedure.
• When needed promotional material and samples need to be delivered to clients as arrange by the Sales/ Marketing department.
• Hand in Driver Report to Warehouse Manager.
• If needed the Driver will assist with other tasks in the Warehouse as per instruction.

Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a Grade 12
• Conversant in English and Afrikaans
• A forklift license is essential
• Valid Driver’s License

Interpersonal Skills

• Must be able to work in a team and alone
• Good time management
• Disciplined and reliable
