SUMMARY:
A vacancy in the retail sector exists for a Bookkeeper/Jnr Accountant up to Trial Balance. Position is based in Menlo Park and the individual must have had previous experience in the retail industry.
POSITION INFO:
Education:
- Grade 12
- Bookkeeping Certificate/Diploma
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experiense in a Bookkeeper position.
- Retail Experience essential.
- Must be able to work on Pastel.
- Discipline and strong time management.
- Reliablility and deadline driven.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping up to Trial Balance.
Supplier invoicing and processing.
Supplier statement reconcililiations.
Supplier payment run loading.
Bank reconciliations.
Stock reconciliations.
Draft monthly management accounts.
Monthly journal processing.
Monthly stock adjustments.
Fixed Asset Manegement.
Support calculation and submission of VAT returns.
